Arab political regimes. Political party systems, elections and social movements in Middle East and North Africa.
Studying the party system in Egypt. Examining the political, social and economic history of contemporary Egypt in order to explain how the construction of the modern state and economy gave birth to the social cleavages related to the current party system.
